According to recent statistics, the number of centenarians in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

Between 2004 and 2024, the number of men aged 100 or over has tripled from 910 to 3,100. During the identical period, the count of women aged 100 or over nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
